AUBURN, Wash. — A suspected hit-and-run driver was arrested after striking a woman who was riding a bike Friday evening in Auburn.
Auburn police said the crash happened about 11:45 p.m. in the 1600 block of Auburn Way North.
When officers arrived, they found the bumper and the license plate from the truck under the victim, officials said.
The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center with a head injury, officials said.
Police said they ran the plates and found the man driving home and arrested him.
The crash is under investigation.
