• Emergency water main repair slows ID traffic

    SEATTLE - Emergency repair work on a leaking 30-inch water main is slowing traffic flow in the vicinity of South Dearborn Street and 8th Avenue South, which is in the Seattle's International District.

    Westbound traffic is down to a single lane on S. Dearborn, between 8th Avenue S. and 9th Avenue S.; southbound traffic on 8th Avenue S. is also down to one lane, from Lane Street to S. Dearborn.

    Seattle Public Utilities says the cause of the leak is unknown at this time.

    Repairs are expected to take until at least midnight.
