Elderly woman missing out of Lacey area

LACEY, Wash. — An elderly woman with possible dementia went missing out of the Lacey area on Friday afternoon. On Saturday afternoon, police said she had been located.

The woman was found 'safe and sound,' according to Lacey Police. The department thanked Lacey Explorers & NW Bloodhounds for the help in finding Madge. 

The woman, Madge M. Gerard has short grey hair, brown eyes, uses a walker, and carries a suitcase with flowers on it, according to police.

Madge left South Sound Villa Apartments -- located at 4101 Lacey Boulevard SE at around 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27th.
