Several police cars rammed by Bothell DUI suspect

BOTHELL, Wash. — A Bothell police officer was hurt when a suspected DUI driver rammed several police cars Tuesday night, according to investigators.

It happened about 8:15 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Bothell.

Police say when an officer tried to pull the driver over, the suspect put his car in reverse and then rammed several police cars.

That started a short chase before the driver was taken into custody. He faces possible charges of DUI, felony assault and eluding.

The officer has non-life-threatening injuries.
