Puyallup Police search for missing 60-year-old man

PUYALLUP, Wash. — Officers with the Puyallup Police Department are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing man.

Police said Steven Martin Vuga, 60, was last seen when he signed himself out Valley Community Inn, an assisted living facility, around 10 p.m. Wednesday.

The Valley Community Inn is located in the 700 block of 2nd Street NW, a few blocks northwest of Grayland Park.

Vuga is described by police as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 150 pounds with gray hair and green eyes. It is not known what he was wearing when he left the facility.

Around 3 a.m., police said staff members became concerned that Vuga had not returned.

Police said Vuga has health problems that make it difficult to care for himself.

“In the past, Mr. Vuga has left Valley Community Inn and become disoriented and unable to find his way back. An extensive search was done for Mr. Vuga, but he was not located,” police said.

Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact the police department’s tip line at tips@ci.puyallup.wa.us or by calling 253-770-3343.
