Deputies with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 85-year-old man.

Officials said Jung Kim was last seen around 6 p.m. Monday near the intersection of 180th Street SE and 35th Avenue SE.

Deputies said he was wearing a light blue jacket, light pants, black shoes and a hat and mentioned that he may have early onset dementia.

Deputies said he may have been trying to walk to a family member’s house near Nickel Creek Park in Bothell.

Just before 9 a.m., deputies said search and rescue officials, K-9 teams and a helicopter were still searching in the Bothell area for Kim.

“If you live near this area, please search your backyards, garages and outbuildings for Mr. Kim,” a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office said in a tweet.

Anyone with information on Kim’s location is asked to call 911.
