Couple, 4 children hurt in Grays Harbor crash

GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY, Wash. — A man, woman and four children were hurt after the man who was driving fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed.

A 26-year-old man was driving on State Route 101 in Grays Harbor shortly after midnight Tuesday when he fell asleep and struck an embankment, according to the Washington State Patrol.

He was injured, as well as a 30-year-old woman and four children under the age of 10.

No one was wearing seat belts.

An 8-month-old boy was also in the car, but he was buckled into a car seat and was not hurt.
