• Capitol Hill shooting caught on video

SEATTLE - New video obtained by KIRO 7 shows a shooting that injured five people on a Capitol Hill street.

The shooting happened outside the QFC store at the corner of Broadway and Pike early Sunday morning.

Five people were hurt and the gunman is at large.

The video taken by a bystander shows the victims being shot.

Witnesses say the shooting happened around 1 a.m. after they heard an argument and then saw gunshots coming from a silver car.

The shooting happened in such a busy area of Capitol Hill that Mayor Ed Murray spent Sunday trying to reassure nearby businesses.

"Folks are very concerned. And I think the investigation will answer a lot of the questions. We've been in the process of increasing police presence in the Pike-Pine corridor of Capitol Hill. And we'll continue that,” said Murray.

Four people, including three women in their 20s, were hit by bullets. Another person was hit by shattered glass.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Seattle police.
