Stephen Colbert wishes his agent did 'as much for me as Trump does for Russia'

Stephen Colbert couldn't help but comment on President Trump's NATO interactions thus far on his show Wednesday.

The "Late Show" host lampooned our nation's leader, who he referred to as "a human air horn," for saying "Germany is totally controlled by Russia" as a result of a gas pipeline linking Russia to Germany.

"It's true. We're all controlled by the people who give us our gas," Colbert joked, "which is why I'm forever beholden to the Chevron on Route 3.

Colbert also knocked Trump for predicting that his meeting with Putin "may be easiest of them all – who would think?"

“I would think. Everyone would think,” Colbert said in reply.

“Now, I’m not ready to say that our president is a Russian agent, but I have an agent, and he doesn’t do as much for me as Trump does for Russia,” Colbert continued.

Referring to his rep, James Dixon, Colbert said “I love you, Baby Doll, but you never swung an election for me. I lost to John Oliver.”
