Scammers do. They’re sending millions of last-minute travel deals emails designed to get your personal information.
Tim Helming from the computer security company DomainTools says it’s simple phishing. Ads have links that are misspelled that send consumers to fake sites.
“If you go in there and enter your information, they have your name a credit card number,” said Helming.
