The frozen prosciutto pizza products were produced from April 1 to June 4 and shipped to retailers and wholesalers across the country. They were also sold online.

The products are in a shrink-wrapped package containing a single personal size pizza identified as "TABLE 87 COAL OVEN PIZZA Home of The Coal Oven Slice PROSCIUTTO" and have a UPC Code 804879558286.

The products that are subject to recall bear an establishment number of EST. 51192″ inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The issue was discovered on June 4, when the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets contacted the FSIS inquiring whether the plant was operating under a USDA Grant of Inspection.

Consumers who have purchased the products are being told to throw it away or return it to the place it was purchased.
