Joyful Cause: American Cancer Society's Night of Hope Gala – Saturday, November 11. Join KIRO7's Jesse Jones for a one-of-a-kind evening, featuring great food, dancing, a spectacular auction, and much more. With your support, the American Cancer Society saves lives by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back against cancer. Community Parade: 52nd annual Veterans Day Parade & Observance in Auburn – Saturday, November 11, 11 a.m. From city site: The purpose of Auburn's Veterans Day Parade is to positively focus on honoring our country's veterans and active military personnel. The parade boasts over 200 units and nearly 6,000 parade participants, including 30+ high school marching bands, military vehicles, veterans' units, honor guards and more. Sweet Treat: The Northwest Chocolate Festival – Saturday & Sunday, November 11-12, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is expected to be numerous of exhibitors at the event.
