7 things to do this weekend: May 3 - 5

1) Boozy and bacon extravaganza: 6th Annual Seattle Bacon and Beer Classic—T-Mobile Park, Seattle, on Saturday from 12-10 p.m. Choose from over 100 craft beer samples from across the PNW, 30+ delicious and creative bacon dishes, lawn games, music and much more! 2) Festive food and fun-run: Fiesta 5K Ole and Food Truck Festival - Saturday, 7 a.m.- 4 p.m. at Volunteer Park, Seattle. Start the day with a fiesta 5K with a post-run beer and margarita garden, 20+ food trucks and live music. The race starts at 9:30 a.m. Early online registration is available. 3) Kids storytelling: Seattle Symphony's Carnival of the Animals - Saturday, 11 a.m at Benaroya Hall, Seattle. Enjoy wildlife like none other than at the Benaroya Hall concert performance of Saint-Saëns' "Carnival of the Animals" and Rossini's "William Tell Overture." 4) Cultural heritage celebration: Seattle Center Festal Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration - Sunday, 11:45 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Seattle Center Armory. Free. Experience the cultural roots of Asians and Pacific Islanders through live music, visual arts, games, a marketplace, food and hands-on activities to participate in. 5) Jewish Heritage celebration: Yom HaShoah: Holocaust Remembrance Day - Sunday. Seattle Art Museum. 2-4 p.m. The remembrance will feature a performance from actress Samara Lerman presenting her one-woman play, "Cyla's Gift," followed by a memorial candle-lighting with Holocaust survivors and the Holocaust Center's Student Leadership Board.  Follow this link for details.

6) Walking for a cause: March for Babies, Seattle - Saturday, 8 a.m. Fisher Pavilion, Seattle. Join the cause to raise awareness to support research, advocacy and programs to benefit the health of all moms and babies who have gone through or are currently going through a premature birth. 7) Puppy lovers: Bulldog Haven NW's Bulldog Ball Auction - Saturday, 6-11 p.m. Meydenbauer Center & Theatre, Bellevue. This is Bulldog Haven NW's biggest event of the year.
