7 things to do this weekend: May 3 - 5

2) Festive food and fun-run: Fiesta 5K Ole and Food Truck Festival - Saturday, 7 a.m.- 4 p.m. at Volunteer Park, Seattle. 3) Kids storytelling: Seattle Symphony's Carnival of the Animals - Saturday, 11 a.m at Benaroya Hall, Seattle. Enjoy wildlife like none other than at the Benaroya Hall concert performance of Saint-Saëns' "Carnival of the Animals" and Rossini's "William Tell Overture." 4) Cultural heritage celebration: Seattle Center Festal Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration - Sunday, 11:45 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Seattle Center Armory. Free. Experience the cultural roots of Asians and Pacific Islanders through live music, visual arts, games, a marketplace, food and hands-on activities to participate in. 5) Jewish Heritage celebration: Yom HaShoah: Holocaust Remembrance Day - Sunday. 6) Walking for a cause: March for Babies, Seattle - Saturday, 8 a.m. Fisher Pavilion, Seattle. Join the cause to raise awareness to support research, advocacy and programs to benefit the health of all moms and babies who have gone through or are currently going through a premature birth. 7) Puppy lovers: Bulldog Haven NW's Bulldog Ball Auction - Saturday, 6-11 p.m. Meydenbauer Center & Theatre, Bellevue. This is Bulldog Haven NW's biggest event of the year.
