7 things to do this weekend: March 8 - 10

1) Pet performance: Woof by WoofWest presented by the Seattle Kennel Club – Saturday and Sunday. The dog show will have a myriad of activities. Attendees will be able to ask a practitioner informal questions about their pet. There will also be demonstrations and competition in agility and conformation. The public can also bring well-behaved, well-controlled, and vaccinated dogs. There is a daily limit. The show is at CenturyLink Field Event Center. Follow this link for details.

2) Controlled moves: Batsheva Dance Company – Saturday. Watch the vision of Batsheva's Ohad Naharin come alive on stage as dancers perform his original movement language, "Gaga." The event is at the Paramount Theatre. Follow this link for details.

3) Network: YPO Seattle 8-year Anniversary Party – Saturday, 7 p.m. to midnight. Attendees will be entertained with a photo booth, a DJ, a dessert bar and more. Games and a digital swag bag are expected to be available. Follow this link for details.

4) Family theater: 'The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane' - Running until Sunday. From the event website: "An exquisitely fashioned toy china rabbit, Edward Tulane, experiences deep love and loss on a tumultuous 20-year journey. Edward, a self-important toy companion to a young girl, obsesses over his vast array of lovely outfits rather than forge new relationships. 5) Animal connection: Kids 'N' Critters - Saturday to Sunday. Families can visit the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park and hold a mountain goat skull and get close to dozens of native Northwest animals. Four kids 12 and under can get in free for every paying adult. Follow this link for details.

6) Creative joy: Kent Kids' Arts Day - Saturday. Kids will be able to enjoy 15 hands-on art projects with professionals who lead the artistry. Some of the opportunities will include sewing a bean bag, creating clay creatures, printmaking and more. This event will take place at the Kent Commons. Follow this link for details.

7) Trade: Seattle Bike Swap - Sunday. This event at Magnuson Park, Hangar 30, is open to the public for buying and selling of bicycle treasures. There is expected to be a great selection of bike-related goods. Follow this link for details.
