KIRO 7 Cares Toy Drive - Join KIRO 7 and Albert Lee Appliance to help create special memories for children in our community this Holiday season. Classical Moves: The Nutcracker – Friday through Sunday, December 1-3. This holiday performance will be held at the Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center and will be hosted by the Ensemble Ballet Theatre. Follow this link for details.

Holiday Sparkle: Redmond Lights – Saturday, December 2, 4-8 p.m. From site: Redmond Lights celebrates the City's diverse holiday traditions, cultures, and faiths. Experience this three-part, progressive events, by starting at the city hall tree lighting; strolling down the Redmond Central Connector Luminary Walk, and ending the evening at Redmond Town Center. Light Show: Zoolights at the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium - It runs until January 1, 2018. Attendees can expect animal light displays and see other animals up-close at the zoo's Kids' Zone. Smooth Sounds: Holiday Concert featuring Michael Wansley - Saturday & Sunday, December 2-3. From site: A program for the young and not-so-young. A Pops extravaganza with a brilliant young emerging artist, Young Park, and a program of modern Pops with Michael "The Wanz" Wansley, Grammy-award-winning pop singer and Macklemore collaborator. Seattle Customs: Holiday Traditions in Downtown Seattle – From site: Bring the family to Westlake Park and ride our Holiday Carousel. Festive Fun: Christmas Lighting Festival in Leavenworth – Friday through Sunday, December 1-3, 8-10, and 15-17. From site: On Friday evenings, the lights are all on! Live musical performances of your favorite Christmas songs fill the streets, interrupted briefly at 4:30 p.m. for the arrival of St. Nickolaus at the Front Street Gazebo, who welcomes children young and old with the story of his legacy and "gold" for the good boys and girls! Please note: There is no Lighting Ceremony on Friday's! On Saturdays and Sundays, the festivities kick into full gear at 12:00 p.m. with the Arrival of Santa and costumed holiday characters in a march from the Festhalle to the Gazebo!
