Car bursts into flames on I-5/SR 18 interchange near Federal Way

FEDERAL WAY, Washington — Fire engulfed a car on the northbound Interstate 5 ramp to eastbound State Route 18 on Friday afternoon.

The incident partially blocked the ramp as firefighters worked to put out the blaze, the Washington State Department of Transportation said.

It wasn't immediately clear what caused the fire.
