Seattle Storm star Lauren Jackson retires from basketball

One of the best players in Seattle Storm and WBNA history announced her retirement today.

Lauren Jackson was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2001 draft and helped Seattle win WNBA titles in 2004 and 2010.

Jackson has battled injuries over the past three seasons.

She's the leading scorer in franchise history, and is the sixth all-time leading scorer in WNBA history.
