Gonzaga tied for first after 92-63 win over Loyola Marymount

LOS ANGELES — Domantas Sabonis had 21 points and 11 rebounds and Gonzaga moved into first-place in the West Coast Conference with a 92-63 victory over Loyola Marymount on Thursday night.

The Bulldogs (18-5, 10-2) have one more league win than Saint Mary's, which lost at BYU 70-59.

Sabonis was 9-of-14 shooting in posting his conference-leading 13th double-double. Kyle Wiltjer was 9 of 13 for 23 points. Gonzaga shot 57 percent, though was only 6 of 21 on 3-pointers. Eric McClellan added 14 points and Kyle Dranginis had 11 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

The Bulldogs outrebounded LMU 40-25 and outscored the Lions in the paint 54-26.

Adom Jacko led LMU (10-13, 3-9) with 23 points.

Gonzaga shot 63 percent in the first half, including a 14-0 run, to take a 47-26 lead. The Bulldogs' largest lead was 34.

The Bulldogs, winners of four straight, haven't lost to LMU since February 2010.
