• Young Seahawks fan ‘goes long' to remove tooth with football

It could be the most creative tooth extraction in the history of Seattle Seahawks fans.

A young Seahawks fan responded to his team’s toothless display in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers by removing a loose tooth of his own, Facebook Newswire wrote.

“Jim Devereaux shared a video on Jan. 17 of his son Leo throwing a football at halftime with a string attached to it and the other end tied to a loose tooth,” Newswire wrote. “After his father caught the ball, Leo showed off the now-removed tooth to his parents.”

The video had been viewed more than 4,000 times as of Tuesday morning.

“To add some excitement to a tough first half, Seahawks vs. Panthers, we decided to do a tooth extraction -- 12th Man Dentistry, Russell Wilson style,” Devereaux wrote.

The family lives on the eastside.
