Woman dies from injuries in Tenino crash

THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. — A 50-year-old woman died Sunday from her injuries after a vehicle collision in Tenino Saturday evening, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Troopers said the collision happened at 16641 Old Highway 99.

State Patrol told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News the woman was impaled by a fence post during the collision.

The woman was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition, but died Sunday.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but troopers believe drugs and alcohol were not factors in the collision.
