SEATTLE - A woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a collision in South Seattle, according to Seattle police.
The collision happened early Saturday morning.
A gray Toyota Prius was heading northbound on Martin Luther King Junior Way South toward South Othello Street. Meanwhile, a green Ford Focus was traveling southbound on the same street.
The driver of the Ford Focus turned left in front of the Toyota Prius and this resulted in a collision.
According to Seattle police, the driver of the Ford Focus showed signs of alcohol impairment. She was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The Seattle Fire Department treated the driver and passenger of the Toyota Prius. The driver and the passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Harborview Medical Center.
The driver and passenger of the Ford Focus did not sustain any injuries.
The woman was processed for DUI and released pending a routine investigation by a Drug Recognition Expert officer .
