Woman arrested in DUI after causing crash with officer, police say

FIFE, Wash. - A woman was arrested for drunken driving after she pulled into the path of a Fife police officer responding to a priority call, authorities said.

The crash happened around 8 p.m. Monday on Pacific Highway South in front of the Emerald Queen Casino. 

Washington State Patrol Trooper Guy Gill said the officer struck a vehicle driven by Jane Kim, 27, after Kim pulled out in front of the officer's patrol car. The officer's name was not released.

Neither woman was injured. Kim was booked for driving under the influence.
