ONLY ON KIRO 7: Woman accused of raping daughter's ex-boyfriend

THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. — Aglaia Cloud, 36, is an aspiring actress, model, and musician. Most performers love being in the spotlight, but Cloud clearly did not want to be seen Tuesday wearing a hoodie and sunglasses headed into the Thurston County courthouse to be arraigned on charges of raping a 15-year-old boy.

Cloud remained silent as South Sound reporter Richard Thompson asked, "What's your response to the allegations that you raped the teenaged boy?"

Prosecutors believe Cloud repeatedly had sex with her daughter’s ex-boyfriend at her Lacey home and at several Lacey hotels.  According to charging documents, the teen’s mother became suspicious after he broke up with his girlfriend but kept going over to her home.

The boy eventually told his mother what had happened, saying he did not want to have the relationship, but Cloud was helping his dance career by getting him in contact with a talent agent.

Detectives told KIRO 7 they have obtained a sex video shot by Cloud and the teen at the Holiday Inn Express in Lacey. Police said the teenaged victim eventually worked with police to record several phone calls with Cloud in which she admitted guilt involving her relationship with the underage boy.

Lt. Phil Comstock said, "There were conversations about their relationship confirming her knowledge of his age and the fact they had a sexual relationship."

Cloud pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released without bail on Tuesday. She now lives out of state but will have to return to Thurston County in December for her criminal trial.
