SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — The No. 1 seed Gonzaga Bulldogs fell to the No. 9 seed Wichita State Shockers in a third-round game of the NCAA tournament in Salt Lake City.
The Shockers had a 36-31 lead over the Bulldogs at halftime.
The Shockers pulled off a 76-70 win to advance and make an appearance in the Sweet 16.
Wichita State will play the winner of Sunday’s La Salle vs. Ole Miss.
