SEATTLE - With temperatures expected to reach the 70s around the Sound, people across our viewing area are out enjoying the sunshine on Easter Sunday. But if you like the warmer weather, you better get outside with everyone else today. Temperatures are dropping on Monday, the week ahead gets progressively cooler and the chance for rain increases.
Interestingly, last year Easter Sunday it hit 70 degrees in Seattle as well, breaking a record. However, last year Easter was on April 8th. Since the mid-1940s temperatures have only reached the 70 degree mark 15 times in March.
