CHELAN, Wash. - The Seattle division of the FBI is investigating the defacing of a vehicle in Chelan last month as a potential hate crime.
Investigators said that on Sept. 1, a vehicle was damaged and defaced with racial and religious slurs sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of West Woodin Avenue and Waterslide Drive.
As a part of an ongoing investigation, the FBI is seeking information about the identity of those responsible for the crime.
