Vandals target 13 more cars in Puyallup

PUYALLUP, Wash. — Vandals targeting the side mirrors windows on parked cars struck again over the weekend in Puyallup bringing the total number of vehicle damaged to 50. “It’s a frustrating crime spree because it’s very quick”, said Puyallup police captain Scott Engle. “Victims are not able to know what’s happened until it’s already done.”

The vandals have hit cars in several different neighborhoods including the city’s southeast side, south hill area and west of the Washington State fairgrounds.

Police are looking for a red sedan seen with several people inside. Eyewitnesses have not been able to determine a make or model. Police are urging the public to be alert and to report suspicious vehicles. Anyone with information is urged to call the Puyallup Police Department tip line at 253-770-3343.
