UW frat members hear explosion; find mailbox in pieces

SEATTLE — A University of Washington fraternity found their mailbox in pieces on the ground, police said. 

The incident happened in the 4600 block of 22nd Avenue Northeast. 

Police said late Saturday night members of the fraternity heard a loud explosion outside of their house. 

When members of the fraternity went outside, they found their mailbox on the ground in pieces. 

According to police, there were no eyewitnesses.

No injuries were reported.
