SEATTLE - Three armed men remain at large after attacking and robbing an 83-year-old woman at her South Seattle home.
Officers responded to a report of a home invasion robbery with at least one gunshot fired in the 4900 block of 28th Avenue South shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said the woman was at home alone using her computer when three black men, all armed with handguns and wearing ski masks, forced their way through her home’s front door.
They held guns to her head and chest while dragging her around the house demanding money.
The victim handed over a small amount of cash and the intruders also took jewelry and possibly some other personal items, placed them in a pillow case and fled.
The victim went a neighbor’s house and called 911. She was not hurt.
Patrol officers and K-9 units searched the area but the men remain at large. There are no more details on the men’s descriptions.
Anyone with information about the crime or who may know the identities or whereabouts of men is asked to call 911 or the Seattle police robbery unit at 206-684-5535.
