A couple gave ‘tying the knot’ a whole new meaning on Aug. 26.
Mickey Wilson and Purple McMullen-Laird wed in Moab, Utah while suspended more than 300 feet in the air.
The couple, who are both professional slackliners, said their vows on a space net. After they said “I do,” they dropped more than 200 feet toward the canyon floor.
Earlier this year, Wilson sprang into the spotlight after he rescued an unconscious man from a chairlift in Keystone, Colorado.
In a viral video, Wilson was seen scaling the lift’s cable and cutting the man free with a knife.
Wilson told the Denver Post, “It was one of the most scary things I’ve ever seen, honestly.”
