Traffic incident blocks major street in SoDo

The northbound lanes of Fourth Avenue South in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood were blocked by a traffic incident involving a Metro bus.

A witness saw police officers inspecting the bike rack on a bus that was stopped on Fourth slightly north of Holgate Street about 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Multiple aid cards and fire trucks were at the scene.

Bus routes were detoured but returned to normal by 7:30 a.m.

It is not known if the incident involved a pedestrian or another vehicle.
