TACOMA, Wash. - A tiger cub at the Point Defiance Zoo was named Wednesday morning.
Kali (pronounced KAH-lee) is an endangered Sumatran tiger cub.
"She's spunky, robust and energetic," zoo staff biologist Steven Ok said. "She has a lot of upper body strength. She's still just a little cub, but she's already moving around well."
Kali was born April 17 to mother Jaya and father Malosi.
The tiger cub will make her public debut Thursday and will be living in the Cub Den.
