Tacoma police seeking witnesses to officer-involved shooting

TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma police detectives are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred at 28th Street and Portland Avenue on June 29.

Several witnesses remain unidentified.

Detectives are particularly interested in speaking with the people who were in three vehicles that were stopped at a red light for eastbound traffic on 28th Street.

The three vehicles include a blue minivan with extension ladders on top, a red SUV and a black Jeep.

Police included photos of the vehicles.

Police are urging witnesses to contact the police department.
