Suspect in deputy-involved shooting has died

BURIEN, Wash. — Deputies shot and wounded a barricaded gunman after he began firing shots from a Burien home. The man later died of his injuries.

It started with a domestic incident between a husband and wife in the 1200 block of SW 160th Street in Burien around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

The wife was able to flee the home. The husband ignored orders to leave and barricaded himself inside.

No deputies were injured. The gunman was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was pronounced dead.
