EVERETT, Wash. — An alleged bank robber believed to be responsible for at least seven bank robberies in Washington State was arrested Friday Everett Police say.
57-year-old Christian N Franzwa was arrested at around 11 a.m. at the intersection of 128th Street and 4th Avenue West.
Everett Police say they have been keeping an eye on Franzwa since developing information to suggest that Franzwa was identifiable as “Beardo” the bank robber, known for wearing a fake beard during his crimes.

Officers say that Franzwa was wearing something similar to a fake beard when he was arrested.
Franzwa, an Everett resident, was booked for seven counts of Robbery in the 1st Degree. The case was handled in conjunction with the Seattle Safe Streets Task Force.
