A Snohomish County girl who was reported missing has been found safe.
The parents of the 15-year-old from Sultan were concerned she had hiked onto an island in the Skykomish River near Gold Bar Monday night.
On Tuesday morning, someone in a private boat spotted the girl and took her to shore, where here parents and authorities were waiting.
The girl did not need medical aid and returned home with her family, the sheriff's office said.
