Streaker at Ballard Locks claims woman stole his clothes

SEATTLE — A man arrested at the Ballard Locks told police he was naked because his clothes were stolen by a woman after he took them off.

Police were called to the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks Wednesday evening after receiving reports that a naked man was seen running through the park.

Officers found the nude man, who claimed the woman he was with took his clothes after he undressed for some reason that he failed to provide.

Police said the man later changed his story, claiming his clothes were in some nearby bushes, but no clothing could be found by officers.

Police booked the man into the King County Jail on indecent exposure charges.
