Stolen U-Haul that was filled with woman's possessions found in Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office has found a U-Haul that was stolen outside an Everett Best Western and contained all of a woman’s possessions.

Kristen Shaulis of Illinois is moving from Illinois to Alaska for a new job.

On Wednesday night, the 39-year-old woman stopped in Everett at the Best Western Hotel at 2800 Pacific Avenue. When she went outside Thursday morning, she discovered the U-Haul and car dolly, with her vehicle, had been stolen, according Everett police.   Read the full story here.

The U-Haul was found Friday afternoon in the 19200 block of 11th Place West in Lynnwood.

Video from Chopper 7 showed police next to the U-Haul truck, which appeared to still have items inside.  There was also an empty trailer parked on the street.

It is not known if the woman’s minivan was found as well.
