Stink about Marysville compost company rises again

Updated:

MARYSVILLE, Wash. - Complaints are on the rise against Cedar Grove Composting in Marysville.

Last month alone, the plant was cited four times for odor violations by the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency.

The complaints aren’t anything new for the company, which has been cited for odor problems 13 times in the last 5 years.

A company representative told the Daily Herald the information on their odor monitors contradicted the claims from last month, and Cedar Grove is investigating on its own.
