• State Patrol investigates 22 crashes on rainy roads

SEATTLE - Though Seattle is known for its rain, it appears that after nearly three months without measureable rainfall, some drivers have forgotten how to drive in it.

The Washington State Patrol said troopers investigated 22 crashes and spin outs during the morning hours Friday.

Video from Chopper 7 during the morning commute showed the slick roads as they glistened from the headlights.

All the oil mixing with the rain caused several spin outs, making it a tough commute for many.

The State Patrol said that on Thursday in Thurston and Pierce counties, they investigated four collisions during the morning commute.

On Friday morning, there were 14.
