SEATTLE - All lanes of State Route 520 across Lake Washington will close this weekend for construction, said officials with the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Crews will close all lanes and ramps between Montlake Boulevard and Interstate 405 starting 11 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
During the closure, crews will shift eastbound lanes to the south, which will make room for construction between the eastbound and westbound lanes from Evergreen Point Road to 92nd Avenue Northeast.
"We're watching the weather forecast closely and keeping our fingers crossed for the dry weather we need to get this paving and striping done," said Brian Dobbins, construction manager for WSDOT.
The construction includes installing bridge lighting at 84th Avenue Northeast, drainage culverts at several locations and pavement for the new roadway across the Evergreen Point Road.
