One dead after car crashes into pole in Auburn

AUBURN, Wash. — One person is dead after their car slammed into a pole in Auburn.

The crash in the 5500 block of Auburn Way South happened shortly after 5 a.m. Friday.

The victim died at the scene.

Southbound Auburn Way South is closed at Academy while officers investigate.
