LAKEWOOD, Wash. — They found the child pornography when he took his computer in to be repaired.
The electronics company called Lakewood police, who called the 54-year-old man and asked him about the images on his computer.
“He said it was his hobby to download pictures of females because they are pretty,” according to court documents.
The man allegedly acknowledged that occasionally photos of naked children were downloaded, but said he did not know they were illegal.
Pierce County prosecutors on Wednesday charged him with four counts of second-degree possession of depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
