Barn burns in large fire in Puyallup

PUYALLUP, Wash. — Firefighters in Pierce County battled a large barn fire in Puyallup Thursday morning.

The fire at the barn in the 1200 block of Saint Andrews Court in the Highlands has since been knocked down.

Photos from the scene showed the building was engulfed in flames.

As of 7:30 a.m., Central Pierce Fire said crews would remain at the scene for several hours monitoring hot spots and investigating the cause.

No injuries were reported.
