Multiple units were damaged in a two-alarm fire at a Tacoma motel on Wednesday afternoon.
Crews responded to a report of a fire at the Howard Johnson in the 8700 block of South Hosmer Street before 4 p.m.
The fire was on the second floor of the building, which spread to the attic space.
Fire officials said the fire was knocked down and there is heavy damage to multiple units.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
