1 taken to hospital after apartment fire in Tacoma

TACOMA, Wash. — One person was taken to the hospital after a fire at a Tacoma apartment Thursday night.

Firefighters responded after reports of a fire in the 5700 block of North 33rd before 9 p.m.

Crews were able to put the fire out.

The condition of the hospitalized person is unknown.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
