Small plane crash lands in Roy field

ROY, Wash. — A small plane crash landed in a cow pasture in Roy after the pilot had engine trouble.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office said the pilot, who was alone in the aircraft, was forced to land at Wilcox Farms in the 40000 block of Harts Lake Valley Road.

The plane landed upright and the pilot appeared to be OK.

The aircraft is registered to Trinity Aviation Academy.
