Six WA Powerball tickets just one number short of jackpot

SEATTLE — A record $579.9 million Powerball jackpot was won on Wednesday. The winning tickets, which matched all six numbers, were sold in Arizona and Missouri.

Six tickets sold in Washington State were just one number short of jackpot.

They were sold at the following locations:

Yellow Pine Market in Kettle Falls

Hank's Grocery in Bremerton

Canyon Road Shell in Puyallup

Shell Station on South Dearborn St in Seattle

Mary's Corner Market in Chehalis

Zip Mart in Kirkland

Those six tickets will bring $10,000 to each ticket holder.

The numbers drawn Wednesday night are: 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and Powerball of 6.
