Shots fired at McDonald's near Seattle Center

SEATTLE — An altercation escalated into shots fired at a McDonald’s parking lot early Saturday morning, police said.

The incident happened at Fifth Avenue and Broad Street after midnight.

Police responded to the location after a call came in about a shooting.

According to police, a Dodge Durango hit a Chevy sedan pushed it, drove around the building and hit it again.

A woman in the Chevy was hurt and taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

During an investigation, officers found a pistol and several shell cases in the parking lot, but no one was shot.

Several people were taken into custody.

Detectives will continue to investigate the incident.
