Shot fired during West Seattle fight

WEST SEATTLE — A shot was fired just before midnight on Saturday during a fight, according to the Seattle Police Department.

Officers responded to a 911 call around 11:55 p.m. at the 3600 block of SW Othello Street. People reported that up to 100 teenagers were involved in the fight.

Upon their arrival, about 30 teenagers dispersed and fled the scene.

Officers discovered a shell casing on the street and located two intoxicated men who were victims of the fight disturbance.

A victim told police that three to four unknown men exited a black car and attempted to fight him. The suspects were reportedly wearing black clothing and black ski masks.

The victim believes that one suspect shot a gun into the air to scare him.

None of the victims were in need of medical assistance.

No property damage was reported.
